Free Jazz Concerts in Venice for the 6th Year!

The Jazz Club of Sarasota is pleased to announce it has received a grant from the Gulf Coast Community Foundation for the sixth consecutive year to provide free outdoor jazz concerts in Venice starting in January 2014. With several jazz bands providing the music, hundreds of area music lovers will be able to again enjoy an afternoon of family enjoyment at the Centennial Park in Venice.  Gulf Coast and the Jazz Club of Sarasota will present the Joy of Jazz series on week-ends in January, February and March.  Dates will be announced later this year.

About Gulf Coast:  Together with its donors, Gulf Coast Community Foundation transforms our region through bold and proactive philanthropy. Gulf Coast is a public charity that was created in 1995 through the sale of the Venice Hospital.  Since then, it has welcomed more than 500 charitable funds established by generous donors and invested more than $148 million in the community through grants in the areas of health and human services, education, civic and economic development, arts and culture, and the environment.
