Guitarist/vocalist, Tony Boffa graduated from Berklee College of Music in 1973. Originally from Maine, Tony performed for many years with his own nine piece show/dance band and small jazz groups. Since moving to Florida's southwest coast, Tony works mostly with small jazz groups, performing music from the Great American songbook and creative jazz renditions of pop tunes. Jazz Trolley & Pub Crawl

Downtown Sarasota, Sarasota, FL

The annual Jazz Trolley and Pub Crawl is part of the Sarasota Jazz Festival. Over forty local jazz musicians will be performing at various venues in downtown Sarasota. Hop on, hop off the trolleys at designated stops near the venues. Trolley rides from 5:30. Music from 6 - 10 pm at various clubs. Wristbands required for trolley and admittance to venues. Enjoy music by Al Hixon, Eddie Tobin, Linda Baker, Debbie Keeton, David Pryun, Skip Conkling, Nancy Pastore, Billy Marcus, Matt Bokulic, Michael Ross, Tommy Goodman, Hot Club SRQ and many others.

Jazz at Two - Jerry Eckert Trio

Jerry is one of the finest pianist in the Bay area. He was arranger for the USAF Air University Band, and music director for such notable performers as John Davidson, Kate Starr, Donald O’Connor, Frank Gorshin and Bobby Vinton.

Patricia Dean, drums and vocals. As a drummer, she is an inspiring and supremely tasteful time-keeper, accompanist and soloist. As a jazz vocalist, she is swinging, sensitive and wonderfully musical. Joining Patricia are Scott Smith, bass and Danny Sinoff, piano and vocals. Sinoff studied classical piano and turned to jazz at 17. His influences are Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans, Kenny Barron, Harry Connick, Jr and Frank Sinatra.

Jazz at Two - Dave Morgan Trio

Now a full time Florida resident, Dave is a drummer, vibist and vocalist, He performs on the Gulfcoast from the Tampa Bay area to Naples with his own group and some of the area’s top
musicians. During his career, he has performed with many big bands and entertainers, such as, Bob Hope & Phil Harris. Joining him are Mark Neuenschwander, bass and Marty Morell, long time member of the Bill Evans trio .

Jazz at the Temple - Ben Sidran

April 8 - Jazz at the Temple - with Ben Sidran, jazz pianist - recognized as the host of NPRs landmark jazz series “Jazz Alive”, which received a Peabody Award, and as the host of VH-1 television’s “New Visions” series, which received the Ace Award for best music series.
As a musician and a producer he has released over 30 solo recordings. His written works include the book "Black Talk" (on the sociology of black music in America), the memoir  "A Life in the Music", "Talking Jazz", a collection of his historic interviews with jazz musicians, and "There Was a Fire: Jews, Music and the American Dream", a cultural history of the Jewish contribution to American popular music during the 20th century and a finalist for the 2012 National Jewish Book Award. Jazz at Two - Mark Moultrup Jazz

Mark is from Detroit and now resides in St. Petersburg. He was a regular in the top Detroit and Chicago jazz clubs and performed in the Chicago and Detroit Jazz Festivals. Mark has shared the stage and performed with a diverse array of artists such as Smokey Robinson, Bobby Vinton, Marcus Belgrave, Eddie Kendricks, Dave Ruffin Regina Carter and Leslie Gore. Joining Mark are James Suggs, Mark Neuenschwander, Jean Bolduc and Zach Bornheimer
